PE250*400
Our PE250×400 jaw crusher (commonly known as 24 jaw crusher) is a compact, high-reliability primary crushing equipment designed for small-scale mining, quarrying, home use, and small construction projects. Tailored for independent site traffic conversion, it combines small size, easy operation, and

PE250×400:
PE: Abbreviation of Jaw Crusher, the general code for jaw crusher series.
250×400: The width × length of the feed opening is 250 mm × 400 mm, commonly known as "2540 Jaw Crusher" in the industry, a compact small-sized jaw crusher.
Feed Opening Size: 250×400 mm
Maximum Feed Size: ≤210 mm
Discharge Opening Adjustment Range: 20–80 mm (adjustable via shim plates)
Production Capacity: 5–20 t/h (varies with discharge opening size and material hardness)
Motor Power: 15–30 kW (customizable, electric or diesel options)
Eccentric Shaft Speed: 300 r/min
Equipment Weight: Approximately 2.8 t
Overall Dimensions (Length × Width × Height): Approximately 1300×1090×1270 mm
Main Components (compact and durable design):
Frame: Reinforced cast steel frame, reducing vibration and extending the machine's service life, capable of withstanding impact during crushing.
Moving Jaw / Fixed Jaw: Jaw plates made of high manganese steel (13Mn), featuring excellent wear resistance, replaceable and reusable to extend service intervals.
Eccentric Shaft: Made of high-strength 40Cr material, drives the moving jaw to swing back and forth, strengthened by heat treatment for better toughness and wear resistance.
Toggle Plate (Thrust Plate): Transmits power to the moving jaw and serves as a safety part — it will break first when overloaded to protect the main machine from damage.
Flywheel / Pulley: Stores rotational energy, stabilizes equipment operation, and reduces the impact of load fluctuations.
Adjustment Mechanism: Gasket-type adjustment, easy to operate, allowing quick adjustment of discharge opening size according to production needs.
Lubrication System: Centralized lubrication design, ensuring reliable operation of bearings and bushings, reducing friction and wear, and extending component service life.
The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate through the V-belt → the moving jaw makes periodic reciprocating swings → when the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw, materials are crushed by extrusion and splitting; when the moving jaw moves away, crushed materials fall and are discharged by their own weight, realizing continuous cyclic crushing.
Compact Design, Heavy-Duty Performance: Small footprint, suitable for tight spaces, mobile setups or temporary job sites where larger crushers can’t fit, while delivering reliable crushing performance.
Large Crushing Ratio & Uniform Particle Shape: Crushes materials with compressive strength ≤ 320 MPa, resulting in uniform aggregates, high cubic particle content, meeting subsequent processing needs.
Simple, Reliable & Easy to Maintain: Simple structure, low failure rate, easy access to critical parts for quick replacement of wearing parts, reducing downtime.
Energy-Saving & Cost-Effective: Optimized crushing motion minimizes energy waste, smaller motor reduces energy bills, suitable for budget-conscious small to mid-sized operations.
Adjustable Discharge Range: 20–80 mm discharge opening, adaptable to different process requirements and various application scenarios.
Materials: Ores and materials with compressive strength ≤ 320 MPa, such as granite, limestone, basalt, river pebbles, iron ore, construction waste, concrete rubble, asphalt, etc..
Scenarios: Small quarries, construction sites, recycling centers, mobile crushing projects, as well as metallurgy, chemical, building materials, highway/railway subgrade construction, etc..
Production Line Position: Commonly used as primary crushing for small-scale operations; can be paired with screens, conveyors or hammer crushers to form a customized crushing line.
Foundation: The concrete base must be level and firm, with reserved anchor bolt holes to ensure stability during equipment operation.
Feeding: Feed materials evenly, avoid metal hard objects entering the crushing cavity, and strictly prohibit feeding materials exceeding the maximum feed size (≤210 mm).
Startup Sequence: Start the machine with no load first → feed materials after normal operation; when shutting down, stop feeding first → shut down after the materials in the cavity are completely emptied.
Maintenance: Regularly check jaw plate wear, bolt tightness, and bearing temperature (≤70℃); supplement lubricating grease in a timely manner; replace wearing parts periodically to ensure long-term stable operation.
Single Machine: 15–30 kW motor (electric/diesel) + high manganese steel jaw plate + manual gasket adjustment seat
Production Line: Vibrating Feeder → PE250×400 Jaw Crusher → Conveyor Belt → Vibrating Screen → Hammer Crusher (optional)
